Dr. Dharmesh kumar Patel is President and CEO of Georgia Family Care, center or excellence serving primary care needs of Dekalb And Gwinnett County. Dr. Patel is board certified in Family Medicine. He has over 28 years of experience in managing patients, and he sees patients of all age groups, from NewBorns to Geriatrics. As a physician he emphasizes the treatment of the total patient, both physical and mental health. His particular interests are treating patients with multiple comorbidities, especially dealing with Diabetes, Hypertension and Cardiovascular diseases. Dr. Patel Graduated from Spartan Health Sciences University and later, completed his residency in Family Medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) in 2001. He is Board Certified in Family Medicine. He practiced in Alabama before moving to Georgia where he established his private practice (Georgia Family Care) in Lithonia in 2005. He enjoys practicing all aspects of family health while education and prevention is his emphasis. He is fluent in English, Spanish , Gujarati Hindi and Punjabi.
